Interlife offers to those in need, a simple and innovative way to improve concretely their lives: the toolkit.
Interlife toolkits are kits containing equipment, raw materials, training and everything needed to start a job to support themselves and their families, and trigger a chain reaction in solidarity in their community.
Interlife toolkit is a responsible, sustainable and participatory development model which aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Concretely improve the life condition of those living in the poorest areas of the district Pudukkottai, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, through the acquisition of job skills and starting their own business in a promising field, simultaneously curbing the risk debt, which affects the poorest farmers.
- Increase food security and help reduce hunger and malnutrition for his family and for the community.
- Boost the rural economy, increasing productivity and diversifying production depending on the market, thus promoting the emergence of new farmers and reducing, contextually, rural out-migration to the cities and the relative increase of the number of "urban poor".
- Trigger a virtuous circle of solidarity within the community: the beneficiary, in fact, after having improved the life of his own family, must assemble with the products and the revenue from his activities, a new toolkit and donate it to another person in need to receive the same opportunities, skills and everything you need to get out of difficulties and change their lives.
