A Bike for School: Lions and Interlife on the Front Line for Girls' Education in India - Blogsicilia.it

The Palermo Mediterranea Lions Club, with the support of numerous Lions Clubs, companies and personalities, has started a collaboration with Interlife ETS to support the “ A Bike for School ” project , an initiative that aims to guarantee access to education for girls living in rural areas of India.

In many communities, in fact, the distance between home and school is an insurmountable obstacle for thousands of girls who risk their lives every day due to violence and possible kidnapping.

Thanks to the donation of bicycles, these young women will have the opportunity to access education safely, reducing dropout rates and ensuring their right to education.
