The Sustainable Development Goals in Agenda 2030 (SDGs)
The 17 goals included in the United Nations Agenda 2030, adopted in 2015 by 193 countries, represent an international action plan aimed at promoting sustainable development in every corner of the planet .
These embrace the three fundamental dimensions of sustainable development, economic, social and ecological , and aim to combat inequality, defeat climate change and build peaceful societies based on respect for human rights.

The analysis of the Interlife Toolkit aimed to investigate the sustainability in the SDG context of the entire methodology used. Different projects were examined, but coherent with each other in terms of purpose and application.
Overall, the score obtained by Interlife is above 80% .
Furthermore, the results obtained for each of the 17 SDGs demonstrate how Interlife has fully understood the relevance of the interdependence of the different dimensions of sustainability .

Life on Earth

SDG 15 promotes the conservation of terrestrial ecosystems, waters and mountain ecosystems. It aims to combat deforestation and desertification, restore land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.

The projects include collaborations with local organizations for the conservation of green areas and/or actions aimed at re-greening interventions.
In carrying out the projects, care is taken not to use products/methods that damage terrestrial ecosystems.
Awareness-raising actions on life forms on Earth are planned
Participants are trained in good environmental practices relevant to the areas where the projects are implemented.
If present, the products purchased for the realization of the projects have sustainability certificates
The projects include actions related to the conservation of protected areas

Peace, justice and strong institutions
Promote peaceful and more inclusive societies for sustainable development; provide access to justice for all; and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
SDG 16 calls for peaceful and inclusive societies, based on respect for human rights, protection of vulnerable people and respect for the rule of law. It includes transparent, accountable and effective institutions.

Active monitoring actions are planned during all phases of project implementation and an evaluation of the results obtained.
