“ A Bike for School ”, the initiative that guarantees girls from rural communities in Tamil Nadu (India) the possibility of reaching school in a stable and safe way thanks to the bicycle.
In the intervention areas, the distance between villages and schools is the main obstacle to education: walking for miles every day leads to frequent absences and early school dropouts, not to mention the risk of violence and kidnapping.
A bicycle halves travel time and ensures that students can reach school safely and build their future.

Based in the heart of Tuscany, Bikes in Freedom specializes in bicycle and e-bike rentals and the organization of guided tours and tailor-made experiences.

What does the collaboration consist of?
Bikes in Freedom integrates social support into its activities through two fundraising methods:
Pedal and Donate: For every rental or tour, the company directly donates a fixed amount to the project. Every customer ride translates into real support for education in India.
Suspended Bike: Customers can add a free donation to their bike experience to fund the purchase of a bicycle for an Indian student by making a secure and traceable donation through Donorbox.
All contributions raised through this page go entirely toward the purchase of bicycles.
