Building on the success of the pilot phase, a national project is now being launched that combines Interlife's humanitarian experience around the world with the reality of Italy's suburbs.
The Liberi Insieme 2 β Costruiamo Ponti project urgently responds to the critical issues affecting the new generations, transforming the school into a place of dialogue and healthy growth by intervening with a structured plan focused on:

GENDER VIOLENCE
Deconstructing the stereotypes and prejudices that fuel inequality. Through dialogue, we help young people promptly recognize bullying dynamics and the signs of toxic relationships, promoting the value of mutual respect and equality as the essential foundation of every relationship.
BULLYING AND CYBERBULLYING
Neutralize aggression, both physical and digital, by providing tools to identify and defuse the mechanisms of bullying. Educating young people about countering cyberbullying means making them aware of the real impact of words online, transforming passive users into active witnesses of healthy communication.
YOUTH DISCOMFORT
Identifying emotional fragility and forms of social isolation that often remain invisible. We work on managing emotions and developing the ability to recognize one's own distress, offering a safe space for listening where vulnerability becomes the starting point for rebuilding a sense of belonging to the school community.
CONSCIOUS USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA
Transforming children's digital presence from mere exposure to ethical participation. We teach them to use social media platforms as tools for constructive storytelling, fostering individual responsibility that distinguishes between freedom of expression and online hate, and harnessing the power of the web toward dialogue.

The project stems from the belief that preventing violence isn't achieved through rules or sanctions alone, but above all through education about relationships, caring for others, and personal responsibility.

Interlife has been working with vulnerable communities in Asia and Africa for years; with Liberi Insieme 2, we bring that same culture of interdependence and active solidarity to Italian schools. We believe that bullying and gender-based violence are not isolated phenomena, but expressions of a common relational fragility that can only be addressed through empathy, support, facilitation, and guidance.

4 METROPOLITAN AREAS: National interventions in Milan, Rome, Naples, and Palermo.

600 STUDENTS: Boys and girls (13-16 years old) involved as active protagonists of change.

10 SCHOOLS: Schools located in contexts of high social vulnerability.

12 MONTHS: An intensive program to generate real and lasting impact.

30 CLASSES: A network that unites students, teachers, and families.

Awareness and Connection: Experiential workshops based on the power of storytelling. We use Antonella Mei's book, "Ogni colore un sogno," as a bridge to foster active listening and empathy. The author has been with us on the project since Phase 1.

Ethical and Legal Responsibility: Face-to-face meetings with psychologists, anti-violence centers, and experts to provide young people with a clear understanding of the real consequences of gender-based violence and bullying.

Interdependence and Global Vision: Digital twinning with peers in India and Africa to break down barriers of prejudice and strengthen a sense of responsibility towards others and knowledge.
CULTURAL AND CREATIVE TOOLS
We chose to combine educational activities with artistic tools because culture and music speak to young people in a direct and authentic way.

Music and Video: Use of the songs "Come immortali" (youth distress) and "Che fai" (gender violence) by Interlife

Social Media Engagement: Co-creating video clips and participating in the national #CostruiamoPonti challenge on social media such as TikTok and Instagram.

Operational Guide: Delivery of a Methodological Manual to teachers to make the educational model replicable and sustainable.
ACTIVE DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP
THE DIGITAL AWARENESS PLAN

CROSS-MEDIA CAMPAIGN: National dissemination of prevention messages through Interlife and its partners' digital channels.

DIGITAL CO-CREATION: Production of multimedia content (music videos, storytelling, podcasts) created directly by the kids for their peers.

ETHICAL SOCIAL CHALLENGE: Activation of the national challenge #CostruiamoPonti on TikTok and Instagram to promote conscious and respectful use of the internet.

RESPONSIBLE VIRALITY: Transforming the concepts of empathy and prevention of gender-based violence into viral messages capable of leaving the school walls and reaching the global digital community.

METHODOLOGICAL MANUAL: A technical tool distributed nationally to make the educational model replicable by teachers and trainers throughout Italy.
