The Lions Club Palermo Mediterranea promotes the initiative
Access to education is a fundamental right, but in many rural areas of India, walking long, often dangerous distances is a barrier for thousands of girls.
To respond to this challenge and embracing the methods and purposes of our project, the Lions Club Palermo Mediterranea wanted to start a collaboration with Interlife ETS to support the project "A bike for school ".
This initiative aims to provide bicycles to vulnerable girls, providing them with a safe and reliable means of reaching school.
The project is part of the international service "Leave your footprint" and enjoys the full support of Governor Palmisciano and LICF.

Thanks to the commitment of the Lions, we will further strengthen the effectiveness of our action by making a concrete contribution to the fight against school dropout and to the promotion of female emancipation in rural communities.
